Three Local Restaurants to Try in Montclair

Over 110,000 restaurants have closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, and that number will only continue to grow as people stay at home and socially distance to stop the spread of the disease. The restaurant industry has been hit particularly hard by stay-at-home orders while people have scrambled to find new ways to prepare food for their families without going out. That’s why it’s so important to support local restaurants and keep them afloat during this challenging time.

Luckily, there are some fabulous restaurants in Montclair that make it easy to want to support them. Your happy stomach will thank you for the great food! Here are three of our favorite places to eat near The Pines at Montclair . We hope you love them as much as we do.

Cafe Moderno

Family owned and operated, Cafe Moderno serves some of the best Mediterranean and Greek food and coffee we’ve tried in California. They create healthy and fresh dishes, including hummus, salads, soups, and kabobs, that everyone is sure to enjoy. Plus, with an online ordering system for curbside pickup, picking up a delicious meal has never been easier. If you’re looking for something to order, we highly suggest trying one of the kabob plates with a side of potatoes and rice. You will not regret it!

Bardot

Bardot serves contemporary California cuisine for every meal of the day. With delicious options for lunch, brunch, and dinner, Bardot is sure to serve you something that you would love to try again. Plus, their space is so chic that just going there to pick up your food will put an extra bounce in your step. They even have spacious patio dining where you can safely enjoy a meal and the sunshine with a friend while still social distancing. Not to mention they also make some impressive cocktails.

House of Pong

House of Pong is the perfect place to enjoy a meal outside with your roommates. Not only is the food delicious, but the customer service is great. You can tell how much the owners care about providing a great experience to their guests, from the food to the overall dining experience. Family owned, this restaurant has a huge menu of authentic Asian fusion dishes that are sure to delight you and your friends.

Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, it’s so important for us to support our community by eating from local restaurants. With online ordering, curbside pickup, and more options for delivery, it has never been more convenient to try some great restaurants from the comfort of your apartment. If you try any of these three restaurants, let us know what you think! We would love to hear from you.
